اليوم سأتكلم عن مركز برودواي للرقص ( Broadway dance center )

أتذكر في أواخر عام 2009 بعد عودتي من ألمانيا حيث قضت رأس السنة الميلادية هناك بأن تكون وجهتي القادمة مدينة نيو يورك , ولكن ليس للسياحة إنما للاستمتاع بتعلم أساسيات الرقص وذلك رغبتاً مني بتطوير مهاراتي خصوصاً بعد أن انتهيت من مسرحية خطر والاستعداد لمسرحية عمر الخيام.

قمت بما أقوم به دائماً وهو البحث عن الأفضل فوجدت هذا المركز وهو موضوعي اليوم ( برودواي دانس سنتر )

مدينة نيو يورك هي عبارة عن مكان يعج بالفنون التشكيلية والاستعراضية والأزياء وغنية بالمتاحف والتاريخ الفني العريق, فلم يكن من السهل الذهاب هناك واختيار الافضل ولكنني عثرت من خلال بحثي عن طريق الانترنت بموقعهم الخاص وتصفحته جيداً ومنذ المرة الأولى قلت لنفسي نعم هذا هو المكان الذي أريد أن أتدرب فيه, وفعلاً قمت بترتيب أموري والتخطيط للذهاب هناك في أجازتي القادمة والتي تكون عادتاً في رأس السنة الميلادية, حيث أكون منشغل جداً طوال العام..

تصفحت الموقع جيداً فوجدت مجموعة من المدربين المحترفين, فهم جميعاً لديهم مشاركات مع مجموعة من الفنانين والمغنيين العالميين نذكر منهم مايكل جاكسن, مادونا, بيانسي, برتني سبيرز والعديد غيرهم, بل يعتبر وجهة رئيسية للفنانين والمنتجين لاختيار راقصين واستعراضين من ذلك المركز ليتم اختيارهم للمشاركة في الاعمال الفنية العديدة كالجولات الغنائية او المسرحية وغيرها

هذا على صعيد المدربين وإن اتجهنا إلى المتدربين نجد مجموعة كبيرة من الراقصين المبتدئين أو المحترفين والذين يسعون لتطوير مهاراتهم ومن جميع الاعمار والجنسيات, حيث أن المركز يوفر فيزا دراسية خاصة يستطيع أن يستخلصها للمغتربين الذين يودون الانضمام للمركز بالأضافة لترتيب الحجز ومدة الإقامة من خلال بعض الفنادق التي يتعامل معها المركز والتي توفر خصومات خاصة للمتدربين, وأيضاً بتسطاعت المنتسب أن يقوم باختيار المواد التي يود أن يتعلمها حيث يوفر المركز عدت أنواع من الرقص أبرزها ( البالية, الجاز

التاب, المسرح, رقص الشوارع, المعاصر, وغيرها من ورش العمل التي يستضيفونها وقد تكون من مختلف أنحاء العالم. يقع هذا المركز في مدينة نيو يورك بالقرب من التايم سكوير حيث ,

لايفصل بينهم سو الجادات والشوارع المتناسقة, وأتذكر اليوم الأول الذي انضممت فيه للمركز وكيف تجنبت البالية وذهبت إلى الجاز معتبرا أنني لا أحتاج ذلك حيث قمت بالرقص مع مجموعات من المتدربين وقمت بالاصطدام بأحد الفتيات وفي المرة الثانية قمت بالدوران لتضرب يدي وجه أحد الراقصات وهنا وبختني المدربة أمام الطلبة وطلبت مني بأن أنضم لصفوف البالية التأسيسية, ولكنني لم أحبط حيث أنني كنت متوقع ذلك بأن يحدث كنت مهيئاً نفسي للأسوء, وبعدها عدت للموجهة التي قامت بترتيب الجدول الخاص في دروسي المكثفة وسرعان ما نظرت إلي وقالت ألم أقل لك الأفضل أن تبدأ بصفوف البالية للممبتدئين . وطلبت منها أن تختار لي هي ومن هناك بدأت رحلتي الحقيقية وبدأت أخذ دروس البالية للمبتدئين ولم يكن حصتي الأولى موفقه حيث هي الأخرى كانت عبارة عن مواقف محرجة ففي كل موقف يصمت المعلم وينظر إلي وأنا واقف على البار وفي جانبي مجموعة من الطلاب الذين لا يقل عددهم عن 20 إلى

30 شخص وهو يقول لي ألا تعرف يمينك من شمالك, وأنا انظر إليه بوقاحة وأرد عليه بأنني لم أرقص أبداً الباليه في حياتي ومن ثمة نظر لملابسي وكان شعري طويلا وغير مربوط فقال لي يجب عليك أن تربط شعرك وما هذه الملابس التي ترتديها حيث أنني كنت أضع رباطاً على يداي وقال لي أنزعها My sweet ballet teacher Joy Karley

وضعها على ساقك وليس ذراعك فقلت له أننا صممتها لتكون هكذا وعدت أحاول أن اركز معهم.

ولا أنسى كيف أنني بدأت أتحسن كثيراً مع أنني من الصعب جداً أن أعمل مع مجموعات وكأنني بحاجة إلى حصص خاصة, وربما هذا هو الشيء الوحيد الذي كان يعيقني وهذا العيب مني أنا وليس من المركز.

كانت تجربة جميلة جدا لي وذكريات لا يمكن أن أنساها. ربما لم يشعر الاخرون بما شعرت به حيث أنهم جميعاً ينتمون إلى مجتمعات تهتم بالثقافات والفنون بينما أنا أتيت من منطقة لاتفقه هذا النوع من الفنون, لقد غمرتني السعادة أنذاك والحماس ولكن كانت مجرد لحظات حتى عدت للواقع.

نعم أنا أنصح أي شخص يود الذهاب إلى هناك لتعلم الفنون الاستعراضية على أيدي أمهر المدربين, سأكتفي بهذا القدر إذ أنه لن يكون هناك نهاية لوصف وروعة تلك التجربة وأنا متأكد من أنني لو بقيت هناك لكنت الأن في أحد عروض برودواي الشهيره إلا أنني أحلم بأن أقوم بذلك هنا في الكويت وعلى طريقتي الخاصة.

With a great dancers and friends

Today I’m going to start talking about my experience in Broadway dance center.

Late on 2009 back then I was thinking to make my next trip to New York city after spending the new year in Germany but this time it wasn’t for tourism it’s for enjoying how to learn the basics of dancing talents and a desire from me to develop my dancing talent after finishing my play called dangerous and preparing for my next play called Omar Alkhayam .

I did what I used to do always and start to search about the best places then I found this center which is

my subject (Broadway dance center)

A city full of arts new work city , with all kind of arts, theater, fashion, paints, museums, and a rich history, it’s wasn’t easy at all to go there and chose the best place to learn some dance moves, but after searching online I found the BDC website and did check it very well!

After checking the website very well I found a professional trainers, most of them have been working with fames artists all around the world as MJ, Madonna, Beyonce, Britney spears and many others, it’s like a target for all the shows and producers to choice from the best dance student to join them in tours and shows.

From the first time I felt this is the one I wanna go and learn, I start make my plans and fix my time to go there in my next vacation and that always be in the new year as I’m busy all the year.

An amazing ballet teacher

That’s about the trainers but if I want to start and talk about the student we will find a big group of dancers beginners and advanced who came to learn and keep practicing from all ages and nationalities, the BDC offer for his student who doesn’t live in US a student visa and and hotel reservation with a selected hotels who offer discounts for the BDC student, the students can choice from many gates of dances I will mention some of it ( ballet, jazz, modern, street dance, theater, tab ) beside a lot of workshops and special offers

This center is located in New York city nearby Time square between the beautiful avenues and streets. and I remember the first day I joined to the center and how I avoid the ballet and went to the jazz class thinking that I don’t really need to start from the ballet till I collided with one of the students and in the 2nd time I did hit one of the girls on her face

wail I’m turning around and here when the teacher stopped me and said something rude I can’t remember it but it’s like ” if you don’t know how to do it stop it and go to the basic ballet and learn it, we don’t want accidents here ” something like that I thought she was over react but I agreed with her, I remember I wasn’t really angry or felt down as I thought something like that will happen and was repairing myself to the worst, then I went back to my schedule management of my classes and soon as she looked into my eyes she said I told you better to start with beginners ballet classes, then I asked her to recommend for me the classes and the teachers and from there I start my journey .

I took the first basic ballet class and it’s wasn’t better then the jazz, it’s little embarrassing for me as well

in the ballet class, I remember each move I make the teacher was notice how bad I am till he hit me with a look while I’m standing holding the bar and there was a lot of student more than twenty kept looking at me and he said to me “you don’t know your right hand from your left?!”, I was so confused, but I hit him back with my aggressive look and my fake smile and said I never did a ballet dance in my whole life, then he forget about my moves to start notice my cloths, and my hair was long and not tied, then he said, you need to tie your hair and take off what you are wearing in your arms it’s used for your legs not your arms, and here when I said well I designed this and I made it to be for my arms then I got back to focus on the class.

I can’t forget how I was getting better with the short time that I had in the center, even if it’s really hard for me to work with groups as I always need a special and private classes and this issue from me not something wrong because the dance center.

It’s was a wonderful experience to me and memories can’t be forgotten, I don’t think anyone of the student felt the same way I felt as they all belongs to countries who understand arts and learn and teach it but when

I remember I was full of joy doing that, but it’s was just a moments for me till I got back to my realty life. Last day @ BDC(Good bye hope to see you again;) ) I do recommend this place to learn and study

I do recommend this place to learn and study dance with many great teachers and choreographers, I

will stop here as there willbe no end to describe the magnificence experience I had there, and I do believe if I stayed there definitely I’m going to be in one of the biggest shows on Broadway, the thing is I’m dreaming to make this here in Kuwait and on my own way
